This needs to be at the fore front of parents’ minds until it is longer in our children's minds, or our schools.
What is CRT?
Create Racial Tension? Communist Regime Tactics? Both good descriptors. What CRT stands for is Critical Race Theory.
In academic circles it is known as Critical Theory and is a cross-disciplinary intellectual and social movement of scholars and activists who seek to examine the intersection of race and law and to challenge mainstream approaches to social justice. Sounds quite impressive, scholarly, good, benign and quite the opposite of what it really is. And, in theory, this may be what CRT was intended to be.
In practice CRT is Marxist doctrine substituting race for working class. It puts forward the ‘fact’ that our society is geared towards benefiting the whites, and has always been that way. We are all familiar with the 1619 project, a concept developed and distributed by the New York Times that claims, very inaccurately, that America was founded on slavery and is inherently evil and irredeemable because of it. (I have to restrain myself from going off and proving how false all of their claims are, but many others have already done so) CRT also states that US society is set up for the disadvantage of blacks and other ethnicities.
Where can CRT be found?
CRT is found in our schools, from kindergarten on through post-secondary institutions. It goes by various names, such as Social Emotion Learning; Diversity, Inclusion and Equity; and the concepts of CRT are cleverly hidden within other school topics. Perhaps you are aware that there is no one right answer in math or science anymore, forcing one right answer disadvantages those who lack the mental capacity to come up with the correct answer is somehow racist.
Why is it dangerous?
It doesn’t teach our children to think or about or real American history or to love the country they live in or to do their civic duty as adults or even to read, write or figure beyond the bare minimums above literacy (just enough to be able to be good workers but not good citizens). I always thought the purpose of education was to teach children how to think and how to be good citizens. Indoctrination into a new society seems to be what education is about these days...a socialist/communist kind of society. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention the erosion of morals it teaches, the pornography, the gender-fluidity.
Don't believe me. Check it out and then speak up. at your school board meeting. Organize an anti-CRT group in your area. Run a candidate or six for school board. Get involved in your child's future.
