Courage

We are Americans...or at least we used to be.

Our ancestors were people of action, they were risk takers. They were a people of conviction. Thoughts, beliefs and ideals moved them.

Were they scared...most certainly, but they acted in spite of the fears. That is what courage is.

The puritans sold everything they had so they could buy passage on a tiny wooden ship to sail for months across the ocean to get to a foreign probably hostile land they were told existed to begin a life of freedom they were unprepared to begin. Now that's courage!

Daniel Boone, and other explores, ventured over and through the Appalachians and other barriers to discover and tame new lands....Courage!

The pioneers ventured ever westward to find space to live free in spite of all of the dangers...Courage!

The men of the Alamo went to that little mission knowing that they would probably all die there in order to delay the advancing Mexican army that was sent to end the quest for Texas' independence....Courage!

The taming of the wild west...courage!

Space exploration...courage!

What happened? Why don't we have the courage to save our freedom and our country from the tyrannical forces that promise to bring socialism?

When did Americans become weak and fearful?

Americans used to be revered around the globe for their fearlessness, risk-taking and courage. I'm not saying that Yanks were liked everywhere. I'm saying the above attributes were respected.

It seems that the United States is like France. In the time of the American Revolution France was still a world superpower. In fact, if it were for the French the colonists would not have won their little uprising against England.

Due to their own complacency and the rise of the USA the French became weak and easily fell to the Nazis in WW2. Oh, they had a network of freedom fighters.

The USA is the same way now except our enemy is not external to this nation. Our enemy is the tyranny that has taken control of our federal government, and of us, and threatens to bring socialism to our shores. And we, as a nation, are just letting it happen. All except for a small but growing band of freedom fighters.

Would you like to help fight for your freedom?
