Fear and ignorance. They feed off one another. When a person is ignorant of a subject, they are likely fearful of it. And if they’ve been told to fear a thing, they likely won’t learn anything about it and therefore remain ignorant and the ignorance re-enforces thee fear and the fear re-enforces the need to not bother learning about the subject.
If one can overcome the obstacle of fear, they can have what they want usually. It’s not easy but it is worth the effort. It has made my life less stressful and anxiety-filled.
I got out of a controlling relationship several years ago and because of that experience I was keenly aware of any other controlling relationship. After a proper recovery time I became aware that we are all in a controlling relationship with our federal government.
As you can imagine, I was not crazy about this situation. I desperately looked for a way to escape it but the federal government is everywhere.
I began to wonder if I was the only one feeling this oppression so I searched and found that I wasn’t alone. In fact, the vast majority of the people of the USA think that government does too much and is controlling too much of their lives.
I then looked for a solution. I found the old standby of armed revolt, which has never been used in all of the years I’ve heard about it. There had to be something else, something better.
I found the Convention of States, it seemed like a great idea. So, I researched it a bit and…FEAR jumped up and ended that notion.
After a short time, I overcame the fear and ignorance by reading Article V of the Constitution followed by a few books. Suffice to say that I have found a very powerful way for the people, acting through their states, to take back control from the government.
A way for the people to have more control over their lives and not some distant big government. Lots more freedom to decide my own life.
