Children of the Congress

Updated: Dec 31, 2019

The Democrats in Congress, every nook and cranny of government on every level, have spent the last century acting like spoiled little children. They constantly push the envelope to see just how much they can get away with before their parents (that's us, the people) tell them NO! No more. Stop it.....Only the parents have been asleep at the wheel since the turn of the last century.

We let FDR put in place numerous New Deal plans that were just awful for the country, and probably unconstitutional which is why he threatened the Supreme Court with increasing the number of justices until FDR had his way.

There are many other documented abuses by Presidents, Congress and the Supreme Court since 1803. Here are a few:

1803 Marbury v. Madison - established judicial review which gave the Supreme Court great power. It also gave them the power to strike down acts of Congress.

1819 McCulloch v. Maryland - Allowed the powers of the federal govt. to expand beyond those written in the Constitution. Federal laws override state laws.

1824 Gibbons v. Ogden - established the supremacy of the federal govt. over states' rights. Gave the federal govt. to regulate, as we know it today, interstate commerce.

If you want to you can search the rest.

Today we have the impeachment circus. There is NO documented proof yet we allow this sham to continue. You can't blame the Democrats as they are only doing what any spoiled child would do in the absence of parental guidance.

And because the impeachment is the most recent in a long line of failed attempts to get rid of our President they have now authorized governors of certain states to go directly after the people and rile them up.

We must resist. We need to think rationally before we act rashly.
